trying out different ways of presenting the work. i haven't completely blown up the stool/chair so its not looking to its full potential, but i wont to have the chair with the stool in front in a living room position. i then wont the fish slightly collapsed next to and on the chair to seem like its sitting on it, yet keeping the deflated/lifeless look. i have though also about potentially having a TV facing the chair, playing a looped film of the fish swimming in the tank. the set up would make a proper sitting room arrangement, humorously mimicking a humans living room, instead of humans watching humans on TV, it would be fish watching fish. the lifelessness of the fake fish reflecting the humans behaviour when watching TV. even though there is life all around, (symboled by the live fish in the chair) the fish is choosing to watch the recorded fish on the screen. be interesting to see if the viewer watches the screen or is more interested in the live fish inside the chair.
