DEAN BLUNT exhibition at the ICA was a mix of poetry, a 30 minuet screening of Kevin hart's comedy video, and dean blunt doing a rap, all in between super loud gangster rap. the whole room was blacked out with bright red, purple and pink lights creating an intense and powerful atmosphere. The CÎROC BOYZ were dotted around the space dressed in the same t-shirts with their logo on it, serving drinks and wearing black contact lenses. the performances we un expected and took a while to come on, building anticipation for some, to much to others and so they left. the presence the CÎROC BOYZ created, as well as dean blunts body guard who was the one reading the poem/spoken was impressively untouchable and important.
