Issac Juliens PLAYTIME held at the Victoria Miro gallery in Angle was not only satisfyingly acute and focused making it a beautiful to watch, but the idea behind the transition of CAPITAL. http://vimeo.com/85817480
http://www.victoria-miro.com/exhibitions/_449/Upstairs hosts a brilliant array of 7 screens, taking it turns to play the film, and at times the same shoot from different angles which was amazing to view. downstairs was another film, a conversatiobetween the artist himself and leading academics such s Stuart Hall and David Harvey.
The presentation of the piece was remarkably interesting to view, which perhaps made the length of the film (one hour) feel like no time at all.
