ITS MY ISLAND

Antti Laitinen experiments with the tragicomedy relationship between nature and humans. he creates by a number of semi-compleated tasks, such as THREE STONES, he dug and kept a stone after 3 minuets of digging, 3 hours and 3 days. the unknown unpredictability of his work makes it fun and enjoyable. His piece WALK THE LINE presents a map he created out of his own face being printed onto a map. he then followed this line. the sharpness and direct synopsis about his work are admirable, quick and to the point they clearly work together as piece but stand strong on their own.
